In 2019-2021, Maclary Elementary School was committed to supporting and recognizing partnerships between the PTA and their school. Maclary Elementary was awarded the National PTA School of Excellence.

In 2019, Maclary Elementary School proudly received recognition for its outstanding achievement in closing the achievement gap among all students and subgroups by utilizing strategies that engage students across the spectrum of learners.

In 2024, Maclary Elementary School was awarded the Ray of Hope Award for their food donation design of canned goods sponsored by the Food Bank of Delaware.
